MARINA FERNÁNDEZ

UIAGM MOUNTAIN GUIDE

Born in Madrid, Marina has been passionate about the mountains from an early age, joining her parents on all kinds of adventures. She started climbing multi-pitch routes at the age of five and reached the summit of Mont Blanc at just 11, developing a special connection with the mountain and going on to complete numerous climbs throughout the Alps.

She has also competed in several Spanish Ski Mountaineering Championships, achieving first and second-place finishes in the Cadet and Junior categories.

Passionate about all disciplines of mountain sports and always looking for an element of adventure, she has a particular affinity with mountaineering and ice climbing.

Her mountain adventures have taken her to Patagonia, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Angola, Tanzania and beyond.

Member of the Spanish National Mountaineering Team (2018–2020).
